These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hey New Mama website, quiz, and personalized blueprint product (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Samrin UX Studio Inc., a corporation based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, trading as "Hey New Mama" ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who you are contracting with
The Service is provided by Samrin UX Studio Inc. (trading as "Hey New Mama"). You confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) and, if acting on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
2. What we provide
Hey New Mama offers a guided quiz that generates a personalized digital "Blueprint" for intentional Muslim motherhood, along with related downloadable resources, worksheets, and reading materials. The Blueprint is a digital, educational product. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or religious advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
3. Your account and account security
Access to the Blueprint is tied to the email address you provide at checkout. You are responsible for keeping that email address accurate and accessible, and for any activity that occurs through the magic-link sign-in associated with it. Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly share the Blueprint or any downloadable resource;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying logic of the Service;
- Probe, interfere with, or disrupt the security or integrity of the Service (including by uploading malware or bypassing rate limits);
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person.
5. Intellectual property
All content in the Service — including the Blueprint, written copy, illustrations, photographs, templates, and software — is owned by Samrin UX Studio Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Upon purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Blueprint and associated resources for your own personal, non-commercial use.
6. Payments, billing, and our payment provider
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Pricing, taxes, currency conversion, billing, and payment processing are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. The Blueprint is sold as a one-time purchase; there are no recurring subscription charges.
7. Refunds
Please see our Refund Policy. In short, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the Blueprint, administered through Paddle.
8. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content will always be current. We may add, modify, or remove features and resources at any time.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and the Blueprint are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Hey New Mama does not provide medical, psychological, religious, or legal advice. You are responsible for decisions you make about your health, parenting, and family.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Samrin UX Studio Inc. and its directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us (via Paddle) for the Blueprint in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samrin UX Studio Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or pose a security or fraud risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Calgary, Alberta will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
